Quaint building in beautiful location. Salon with free tea and coffee. Co-owned restaurant with lovely local food. Small, but adequate room. Good views of village and countryside. Comfortable double bed. Caring chambermaid. Convenient location near bus stop.
Nothing, all was good.

We had a wonderful stay at a small hotel in a beautiful mountain village. The rooms were pleasant with a lovely view of the square. We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub with its breathtaking views. The restaurant across the street served delicious food in a charming setting. The owners were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

The hotel is centrally located, right in the middle of the tiny but quaint town square. The hotel is housed in an old bulding wich has a lot of character. There was a very nice restaurant about 100m away with a very good an inexpensive food (restaurant is called Almejara). The terace at the top offers some very nice views over the suppounding mountains.
The personal at Posada didn't speak much English and I had to use my very limited Spanish with them. Although the room and the bathroom were clean, there was a very unpleasant stake smell coming from the bathroom that got even worse during the night.

The situation of the hotel in the town square so that you could always see something "going on", the view was superb from my room, the personal service from the staff and the feeling that nothing was too much trouble .
This is not a complaint about the hotel as such but there was a lot of dog dirt between the hotel & the restaurant,Perhaps the staff &/or owner need to be aware of this.

Quaint village with charming streets, free Wi-Fi , helpful staff, but where was the sauna? Couldn't find it, even though they said it was there.
Sauna gone missing, maybe it's hiding with the invisible safe and fridge.

Converted convent in a charming village, with free WiFi, sauna, and hot tub. Beautiful natural surroundings for hiking and horse riding. , a golf course nearby and a roundtrip airport shuttle.
Deluxe hotel experience- only missing the mini bar and slippers.

The old building had charming corners and offered beautiful views of the village and countryside. The comfortable double bed and caring chambermaid made our stay enjoyable. The location, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, was convenient. The restaurant belonging to the hotel served delicious meals, and there was a wide selection of brochures on nearby villages in the Axarquia. Additionally, board games were provided, adding to the entertainment options.
We felt very welcome during our stay and had no complaints.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with a wider selection.

I recently stayed at Posada La Plaza for 4 nights and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is housed in an attractive old building with interesting corners, offering great views of the village and countryside. The double bed was comfortable and the chambermaid was caring. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The accompanying restaurant provided excellent service and the food was quite good. I also appreciated the wealth of brochures on nearby villages and the availability of board games.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Spanish countryside. It felt like stepping into a picturesque painting, with traditional white houses dotting the landscape and the stunning Sierras of Tejeda, Almijara & Alhama and Fuente Árabe reflecting the area's natural beauty.
Narrow alleys lead to the hotel.
